The Right Way With Cell Phones

Cell phones are really common to the urban world in our generation. You can see a lot of them every where you go. From your family member that's always using it, to that business man walking on the street, probably talking to a business partner or his wife. Cell phones really useful to us in many ways (emergencies, communicating with a friend, asking your mom to buy you food, etc.,). But some people don't understand when they should use them when they have their cellphones with them (using their phones while driving, in class, in a plane, etc.,). In this post, we'll learn what is the ethical use of cell phones, when/how you should or should not use them.

In my first source, it stated general ethical uses of phones. Firstly, the writer wrote that there are cell phones rules that the user should abide by. These laws came out due to many accidents that took place. In many places, using cell phones are banned while driving. In some places, they have to pay penalty or taken to jail for breaking such laws. Therefore, breaking the cell phone rules is unethical. Secondly, there are cell phone manners. The Institute of Global Ethics took a survey on the readers to get an idea of what they think cell phones about cell phone manners. They collected a lot of various opinions and made a list of proper cell phone use which are keeping conversations short in public places, talking in a low voice in public arenas, switching to silent or vibrate mode while in a meeting program going on, refraining from any sort of discussion on personal or official or confidential topics, and using handsfree while driving or avoiding use it if possible. Lastly, values are also very important. You can use this device for a lot of different crimes. You can even cause personal harm with it. You may have a picture or video of someone, which he or she does not want to share. The pornography is so much widespread through the cell phones. Therefore, you need to cultivate the values in yourself while you are using a cell phone so that you do not harm other rights and do not cause your moral decay.

For my second source, I watched a video about cell phone etiquette. It was quite funny how this guy kept appearing on random places where the guy who wasn't following cell phone etiquette was. I can't embed the video, so you could just click the source below to watch it. The video showed a guy not following cell phone etiquette by driving while texting, answering a call right after asking his wife a question but didn't let her answer, checking your phone constantly in the presence of others, using it as accessories (e.g., two cellphones in one belt, a bluetooth, a headset that's not even in use) and others. The guy who was appearing every where, talking about cell phone etiquette was commenting on how you should use them. I can't exactly describe much in words, but I suggest you watch it by clicking the link below.

I think that we should follow rules for our own safety and our own good. I agree with both sources and think that we should be discerning about when to use it. I don't have a phone, but at least now I understand more about the ethical uses of cellphones. I know a lot of teenagers like me using their cell phones in class while the teacher's talking, but that doesn't mean I should follow them. It's really interesting to know that even some adults break these rules about phones and don't follow them even though it's just a simple rule. My advice is that you should just think about how you can respect and observe the safety of others before using your phone. I don't have anything else to say but to follow these rules set by others.

The Bermuda Triangle Mystery - What I Think!

The Bermuda Triangle Mystery really is mysterious, especially since a number of ships and aircrafts have disappeared and were never found. But I agree with Kusche's theory. I think that most of the ships disappeared because of raging storms or people making mistakes while steering their vehicles. In my opinion, it's really stupid that a lot of people made irrelevant reasons for the mysterious disappearances, like UFOs or ghosts or something just to scare people and probably get money from it. I agree with Kusche because he really researched about the mystery and found out what was wrong with the other false theories.

That is all.

The Bermuda Triangle Mystery - Theories!

Through the years, the Bermuda Triangle Mystery has been confusing many people, leading them to try to find answers for this baffling mystery. A lot of people believe that this is because of some paranormal activity, a natural cause, and many others. Here are some of them:

Pirate Theory:
Pirates? What do you mean pirates? I was confused too when I was researching for theories on this mystery. A lot of people refuse to believe it, but researchers say it's possible. Maybe a group of armed men would ambush a vessel, stealing valuables, killing the people on board, and leaving no evidence for the authorities who might have found a ship in the middle of the Triangle. Piracy wouldn't be a good theory for the aircraft mysteries, but it's a possible reason for the ships that may have been reported missing over the past years.

UFO and Alien Theory:
UFOs and aliens roaming around the Bermuda Triangle is a really popular theory. A lot of researchers, scientists, and theorists agree that there's an area beneath the Triangle that is frequently visited by UFOs. Some researchers said that the Bermuda Triangle was a point chosen by aliens where they abduct and capture the ships and the air crafts. Maybe they think it's better than abducting cows and crop circles huh?

Atlantis Theory:
Since the Bermuda Triangle is in the Atlantic Ocean, some believe that the advanced technology developed by the Atlantians back in the day messed with the instrumentation of the ships and planes, causing them to sink or crash. There doesn't seem to be an evidence for this, but in 1970, while this guy, named Dr. Ray Brown, was scuba diving near the Bari Islands in the Bahamas, claimed that he saw a pyramid-like structure, with a smooth, mirror-like finish. But I guess that's not a valid reason because he didn't have any evidence (i.e., a picture or video) or any other witnesses.

Kusche Theory:
In 1975, Larry Kusche, a librarian at Arizona State University, found a very different answer to the mystery. He decided to investigate the claims from these articles and books. Kusche carefully read through the records that some writers ignored. Kusche discovered that these "strange mysteries" weren't strange as the other writers described. He noted that while the Triangle writers wrote about how it was calm when the ships or planes disappeared, there were raging storms in the progress. Others said that ships completely disappeared, when records say that their remains were actually recovered and that the reason for their sinking was explained.

The Bermuda Triangle Mystery - The Mystery!

The Bermuda Triangle on a map

You might be wondering what the Bermuda Triangle Mystery is, you may not. But in either way, I shall give you information about this mystery that has baffled many over the years.

The Bermuda Triangle, which is also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a triangular area located in the Atlantic Ocean. It's three corners are made up of the Bermuda Island, Miami in the coast of Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. A number of aircraft and vessels have disappeared mysteriously that were never found in this area, making it a famous mystery. The popular culture often thought that these mysterious disappearances were caused by extraterrestrial beings.

Music.

Music has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid. I would always hear mom singing or play guitar or dad teaching my brother or sister how to play guitar. I never thought I would be doing something connected to music except for just listening to it but I guess that was wrong.

When I was a bit younger, I used to watch Disney movies a lot. I always listen to the songs the characters sing and try to sing along. It was really fun. Singing random songs would be like a bonding time in my family. I would random symphonies I hear on TV. In my opinion, that was better than watching the show. I was really interested in music.

I grew up in the shadow of my siblings. My sister's a really great singer, and my brother's a great guitar player. I wanted to be better than they were, but because of the pressure I never dared to be better than them. Then I realized I can take another route in music: playing piano. I really fancied playing keyboards/piano even if I only knew how to play a little bit. Even though I only knew how to play chords, I was satisfied at the fact that I was better than my siblings at something.

When we got to Canada about a year ago, I stopped playing piano because I didn't have a piano teacher anymore. So I went on a performing-with-instruments hiatus and just admired my siblings with their abilities again. Until one Saturday, my mother didn't have a drummer for her worship team on a Sunday. Shd volunteered me to play, even though I only knew a little in playing drums. That Sunday, I actually had fun playing even though I didn't know how to play drums. Another cool thing happened that day; a drummer from church offered to teach me how to play drums for free.

I'm still learning how to play musical instruments. But I think I have achieved much even though I'm not so good at them.
